Risograph Print 5" x 7" - "Connected"

Risograph printing combines traditional printmaking with modern technology to create vibrant, limited-edition artwork.

Each 5" x 7" print showcases the distinctive layered color technique that defines riso aesthetics—bold hues with subtle registration shifts that add character and depth.

This design is inspired on a pre-colonial Huari textile. 

The  Huari weavers used to abstract human and animal forms as the major themes of their textiles, much like the Cubist movement.  On this print, the animals joined together in one shape convey a reverence for the interconnectedness and unity of all living beings within the cosmos. It reflects the belief that humans, animals, and the natural world are all part of a single, interconnected web of existence.
