What types of products do you offer?

At La Vie Bien, I offer unique clothing, home goods, and gifts for a multicultural, diverse community. I proudly embrace inclusivity and seek to serve communities of all cultures and corners of the world. 

Can I return an item if I'm not satisfied?

U.S. customers:

I strive to minimize waste and environmental impact wherever possible. Because of this, if you simply change your mind about your purchase, you will be responsible for covering any return shipping fees. The total return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund, and refunds will only be processed once your item has been received and inspected for quality. We will not accept returns for customized items, certain clothing (undergarments and swimwear for example), or items that are not in their original, unused condition.

Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of order receipt.

All customers (global):

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email Maddie (maddie@laviebien.com) with the details. I will assist with filling a claim with the shipper for items lost or damaged in transit.

In order to receive a refund, items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed in their original packaging with tags attached. La Vie Bien reserves the right to refuse returns on used items.

Photos are required before return authorization.

Do you offer exchanges?

Please refer carefully to the size guides before ordering. Because many of our products are made to order, I cannot offer exchanges for incorrect sizing.

Size charts are included for each apparel item and should be reviewed before purchasing. If you do not see the size chart on the product listing, please reach out to Maddie using the chat bubble on the page or the contact option within the menu.

Do you ship globally?

Yes, I ship many products globally and offer a variety of different shipping speeds for you to choose from at checkout. However, not all products are able to be shipped worldwide - please add your item to the shopping cart and enter your address to confirm whether global shipping is available for the product you selected.

If there is an item that is showing as "not available to ship" to your region, reach out to Maddie and she will assist with further options that may be available.

International customers will see duties listed at checkout to provide complete transparency and to prevent any surprise fees when the item you purchase arrives onto your doorstep. This may mean you'll see a higher shipping cost at checkout. Some of my partners only offer express shipping with tracking, which may also result in a high shipping fee.

How can I get a free gift? 

When the free gift promotion is running, details will be provided within the freegift app, which is accessible via the gift icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. 

Currently, free gifts are available while supplies last. Free gifts will be mailed separately from your purchase as they are handmade in-house. They will be shipped to the address you provide at checkout.

If your items are returned, your free gift must also be returned with your order, otherwise you will not receive a refund.

Are your products suitable as gifts?

Absolutely! My products make thoughtful gifts for friends and family. Whether it's for a birthday, holiday, or just because, our unique accessories are sure to bring a smile and add a personal touch.

I see an item I'd like to customize in my own language, how can I do that? 

If there is a product that you would like to purchase that isn't yet available in your language, reach out to Maddie using the mail icon button in the bottom left corner of your screen. Be sure to include the text exactly as you would like it written in your form and Maddie will work with you to have it customized!

Do you offer customization on your products?

Yes! I offer customization on many of my products. Those products will be labeled as "Personalized", "Custom", or similar in the product title. I focus on providing a variety of unique designs that cater to different tastes and preferences.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary based on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. When you check out, you'll be presented with all currently available shipping options, if there are options available.

Many of my own products (La Vie Bien originals) are printed on demand (with most jewelry, accessories, and products from my partner stores being the exception), which means there will always be a few days processing time to print or process the order before it gets shipped out. So, that should be added on to the expected shipping time you see when checking out for the best shipping estimate. 

As soon as your order is printed (if applicable), you will receive a tracking number with an estimated delivery date. Be sure to select the option at checkout that you wish to receive order updates.

If you are buying a gift for someone, be sure to plan ahead and do not wait until the last minute! My items take time to be produced and to ship, so ordering as far in advance as possible is always best.

I do not offer refunds for items that arrive past an estimated ship by date.

Do you have a loyalty program or discounts?

Yes! Sign up for La Vie Bien rewards via the "rewards" button in the lower left corner of the screen to start earning points on your purchases.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept a variety of payment methods, including major credit cards and PayPal, to make your shopping experience as convenient as possible.

I clicked on a link from social media but the product isn't showing up. Where'd it go? 

My site is set up to automatically hide all products that are out of stock. This means that the item you are looking for is not currently available. 

If you'd like to inquire as to the availability of a specific product you wanted to purchase but cannot find on the site, send me (Maddie) an email and I'll do my best to check when it might be back in stock for you!
