Risograph Print 8" x 10" - "Connected"

Risography prints represent a distinctive approach to fine art reproduction, utilizing the unique capabilities of riso printing technology.

These 8" x 10" pieces showcase the characteristic color separation and layering inherent to the process, delivering prints with rich saturation and subtle registration variations that distinguish them from conventional offset printing. 

This design is inspired on a pre-colonial Huari textile. 

The  Huari weavers used to abstract human and animal forms as the major themes of their textiles, much like the Cubist movement.  On this print, the animals joined together in one shape convey a reverence for the interconnectedness and unity of all living beings within the cosmos. It reflects the belief that humans, animals, and the natural world are all part of a single, interconnected web of existence.
