This beautiful replica of a Merovingian S-Brooch (S-Fibula) from the 6th century is made after a find from a Germanic cemetery.
The S-Fibula was widespread among the Germanic tribes and used by theBavarians, Alemannic and Longobards.
This particular Germanic jewellery was a fundamental part of the early Medieval women costume. Therefore, the S-brooch can be found inlarge numbersin early medieval finds from the 5th to the 7th century.
