For this coffee we roast the beans to a rich, dark French roast, resulting in a completely different coffee than our medium roast of the same beans. The coffee has a lot of dark chocolate flavor together with a smoky sweet pipe tobacco aroma. It has a rich full body with a smooth balanced acidity. Cafe Tolima Suave is an association that represents 154 coffee producers in the municipality of Planadas, Tolima. The Association's goal is to help producers to access the international market of specialty coffee. With a focus on organic agriculture practices, the Cafe Tolima Suave is helping its members to develop better quality coffees and creating awareness of conservancy and protection of natural resources.
